The Voice Mission

Voice is a new imprint of books for women at the center of life—fiction and nonfiction for smart, educated, busy, curious, seasoned women for whom reading is a passion. Women who want to read to figure out what they want next. An imprint by and for women—as women see themselves.

 

Ellen Archer

As President and Publisher of Voice and Hyperion, Archer oversees all the editorial, marketing, sales, publicity, production, and art functions for the imprints. She joined Hyperion in April 1999 as Vice President and Associate Publisher.

During her seven years at Hyperion, Archer has conceived and directed a variety of bestselling campaigns, including Candace Bushnell’s Trading Up and Lipstick Jungle; Steve Martin’s Shopgirl and The Pleasure of My Company; Dr. Judith Wallerstein’s The Unexpected Legacy of Divorce; Jo Frost’s Supernanny; Cassandra King’s The Sunday Wife and The Same Sweet Girls; and J.R. Moehringer’s The Tender Bar.
